mount royal is on!

Lions!

Mount Royal is definitely on for the year. We can probably expect decent turn outs from this point forward providing good weather conditions equal or nicer than what we had on Sunday (which was a mix of sun and cloud and a high around 13C if the forecast was right).

Despite the fact that it was Easter, we had enough fighters present to do melees of maybe 12 on 12. Myself and Edmund were the only lions present, however the Templars showed up in force (maybe 5 or 6?) the Guerrier had a bunch of fighters out too.... and a bunch of non aligned fighters, and a few kids. I'm sure that if it were not Easter the numbers would have been significantly greater.

I would love but a will have the same problem that last year ... the work !!! But when I will end my studies in travel agent, I will be good to come evry sunday. But Iam still training in my own way héhéhé. Have fun

I will be at mount royal. Any lions who can make it should come. If you want to fight your best you need to practice! Also I'd like to make a point of practicing fighting as a unit, and doing group training with new recruits on the side.Also I would like us to operate as a team as much as possible but maybe at some point we could break of into pairs to practice single combat?

You absolutly right about that. I will be in holiday all the month of July and I plan to come every sunday. Until that, I am afraid that I can't affort to be there.

Xathor, we understand you have trouble getting out for now, but do come when you can :-). Myself I was 2 hours later than I hoped.

But it looked like we had a good turn out! A lot of faces I've not seen at mount royal a long time like Nazark and Ragnar for example. What were we a dozen?

there were also a bunch of true faith guys, especially Templars (nice to see our allies training). And more Guerrier.... bigger battle field than last time.... it was fun.

I'm planning on being at mount royal this Sunday.

The forecast predicts cool but sunny weather... maybe a good day to wear those padded gambesons :-)
