Ever heard of Twilight Imperium?

Hi guys,
I heard (through Auguste) that you guys liked board game. I have this really neat one called Twilight Imperium. It's a huge intergalactic invasion/diplomacy game along the same line as Risk. The map is different every game since it's composed of hexagonal tiles. Each tiles contains a different planet system. Every player starts with a different race of aliens and each race grants a different bonus. That way, no player can really use the same strategie during the game. Some races are built up for war, but others for defense. There's also some races who rely on technology or diplomacy. There's also many different ways to win the game, so every strategy is good. It's created by Fantasy Flight (Arkham Horror, Doom, Runebound, War of the ring, Game of thrones). It's a really big game (the box is the biggest thing ever) and since I have the expansion, Shattered Empires, we can play up to ten people at the same time (well, if we find a table big enough for the map, but that's another issue). I'd like to do a board game night. So for those who are interested, give me a sign (I know Auguste is. He's always borrowing the game from me ). I've never played ten people at the same time, but I would love to try it!

Well, I guess it could be cool trying it out. I'm not a big player of board game, but with 10 player, it sure will be fun.

Je m'attendais vraiment pas à avoir autant de réponses enthousiastes aussi vite. Je suis vraiment contente. Pour ce qui est de savoir où et quand on fait une partie, je suis assez ouverte. Seul hic, je suis à l'école la semaine et je travaille un week-end sur deux. Donner moi vos dispo et j'essaerai de figurer une date qui convient au maximum de gens.

Que diriez-vous de pendant les vacances des fêtes, entre le 1er et le 7 janvier par exemple?

Trop long maintenant !!! Un soir serait parfait pour moi.

Je suis d'accord avec Sir Olivius, pendant les fêtes ça serait mieux. Surtout qu'un soir c'est pas assez pour jouer une game (sauf si tu comptes jouer jusqu'à 6h du matin).

Les vrais geeks ne vont pas à l'école! Ils travaillent chez Ubi comme testeurs de jeux et vivent encore chez leurs parents à l'âge de 30 ans... lol

Je suis partant pour une game anytime, notre tradition est de faire ça le vendredi soir, puisqu'on a généralement congé le samedi matin. À des fins pratiques, je propose ma maison, pour l'espace et parce que je peux vous garder à dormir
