i start this thread in order for those that want to help out with their voyage can lend us a hand


we are trying to find a place that rents out tents that would look medival enough for bico so far i found not much that truly strike me as decorum so if you want to help...

J'ai envoye une demande d'information a la compagnie Fiesta ( montreal), voir si ils ont des tentes plus historiques que les tentes de mariages en tissu blanc eclatant avec des fenetres transparentes qui apparaissent dans leur site web.

la quantité de personnes va aussi determiner l'etendue de la tâche.

y faut aussi savoir si il font affaire a st mathieu du parc. parceque on pourra surement pas monter ce genre de tente.

As far as tent stuff is concerned I'll do my best and see what I can dig up.

For my part, I'm down to help with event organization and communication between our two groups. If you hit me up with Ulfgar's (or whomever is organizing shit on their end) contact information I'd be down to be the communications middle man and make sure that everyone knows everything at all times.

so far i ve been talking to ulfgar via facebook messenger.

i suggested a meeting via skype in the future so we might need help there.the ball is in his camp for now we ll discuss things as we go along.

i m not sure exactly who is actually in charge of this whole thing.

It might be different for the tents they sell, but I believe all companies who rent tents of this size also set them up. It's included in the price. Allows them to ensure their product doesn't get ripped up during the assembly process and greatly reduces customer frustration ( can you imagine Granny and Aunt Edna trying to set up a humongous pavilion in the backyard, in time for Sonny-Boy's wedding ? )
So you guessed it, we need a somewhat local company. Suppliers from outside the province are out of the question.

Feedback from Fiesta Tents:
Their models all have plastic windows and nothing apart from plasticky-looking shiny white fabric, so that's a no-go.

On pourrait demander à Marmara, je sais qu'ils font affaire avec une compagnie de chapiteaux pour la grande bataille.
